allow me to (re)introduce myself
so, i don't write with proper writing skills. i don't capitalize. except when talking about God. i tend to be rather comma and parenthesis happy though. i think that i makes me look smarter, but in actuality, it, makes, me, look, self-pretentious, and overachieving. this us supposed to be a place to be me. I DO NOT LIVE MY LIFE IN APA or MLA FORMAT.
i don't want to come off as a hipster. i do not want to come off as a jackass. (though the latter may be more fitting.) i love my family. i love my girlfriend (whom is my family, btw.) i love that i am almost done with school. i hate not being done with school yet. i hate my past mistakes (regardless of what i have learned from them.) i hate that our country is split 50-50.
my role is to apply a little common sense to this blog, to this e-life that i share with my girlfriend. which is really odd, because i share my real life with her too. remember this, our real lives are what matters. there is no online/offline. but, here (the internet) we can be whoever the hell we want to be. this place makes up for our faults, transgressions, and shortcomings. and we have captain planet (al gore) to thank for this wonderful "world."
as times goes on i will post pictures, videos, and jokes. these jokes may be personal experiences or actually funny things that happen. i can guarantee you that some (maybe most) of my postings will not be funny at all (not by the lack of effort.) my entries will be a work in progress, as is my life. so please do not give up on me early. i am sure that my blog-crappiness will be balanced by brittany's superiority in the blogosphere.
(the word "blogosphere" reminds me of the movie Biodome starring the immortal pauly shore and one of the duggars baldwins.)
